Deb Dittmer is a financial professional with over 25 years experience in financial management. Deb began her career with a Big-4 public accounting firm and has since served in positions within industry ranging from corporate and operational controllerships for $100+ million businesses through Corporate Director of Finance for a $1 billion+ manufacturing company. During the past seven years, Ms. Dittmer has been a partner in a professional services firm providing finance and accounting consulting services to businesses ranging from small start-up organizations to multi-billion dollar Fortune 500 companies.

Deb’s industry experience includes all aspects of finance and accounting department management and has provided her particular expertise in the automotive and manufacturing sectors. Her areas of expertise include accounting department process improvement to achieve speed and cost reduction without sacrificing accuracy, cost accounting, upgrading under-performing departments to world-class standards, treasury and cash management in both healthy and troubled organizations, timely and accurate financial reporting, condensing the month-end closing cycle, post-acquisition integration, budgeting and forecasting systems, personnel evaluation and upgrades, accounting department supervision and identification and implementation of cost reduction opportunities.

Ms. Dittmer’s consulting engagements have included acquisition due diligence, transition CFO/controllership services, standardization of inventory cost management and financial reporting, Sarbanes-Oxley compliance for a publicly traded company with 23 North American locations and product costing and profitability studies. Many of these engagements have drawn upon Deb’s process improvement skills and effectiveness in leading and working in cross functional teams.

Deb graduated from Michigan State University with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Accounting. She is a Certified Public Accountant in the State of Michigan and is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, Michigan Association of Certified Public Accountants, Alliance of Women Entrepreneurs and CEO Roundtable of the Grand Rapids, Michigan Chamber of Commerce.
