James Kadunc has over 36 years experience with Delphi Corporation, a global automotive parts supplier. During his time at Delphi, Mr. Kadunc held leadership roles in Supplier Development, Sales, Manufacturing and Material Control. His experience includes 10 years of hands-on lean manufacturing assessment and implementation work, and he also spent 2 years implementing the “Lean Organization” at Delphi.

Most recently, Mr. Kadunc served for five years as Supplier Development Manager, where he was responsible for recruiting, hiring and training Lean Manufacturing Engineers and leading the team to improve performance at a selected group of Suppliers in N. America, Mexico, Europe and Asia. The team’s efforts were focused on quality, delivery and operational improvements.

From 1998 to 2002, Mr. Kadunc was the Global Lean Manufacturing Manager, where his responsibilities included managing a group of Lean Engineers and leading them in Workshops in over 70 Delphi facilities worldwide. These workshops included assessment, training and implementation of Lean Manufacturing Techniques and Tools. This assignment also included a 9-month rotation in Turin, Italy, managing a project implementing a Lean Finished Goods Distribution Center with the results being a significant reduction in facilities, headcount and inventory required to supply this expanding business.

Other roles and responsibilities at Delphi included: Sales Manger, with responsibilities including managing a group of 11 sales people calling on over 100 customer accounts; Commercial Manager in Sao Paulo, Brazil with responsibilities for Marketing, Sales and Business Planning for a Regional Operations’ base that included Brazil, Argentina and Venezuela; Product Planning and Appropriations Manager; and roles in Divisional Planning and Marketing, Production Control, Manufacturing and Industrial Engineering.

Mr. Kadunc holds a B.S. in Business Administration from Bowling Green State University, Bowling Green, Ohio, and a Masters of Business Administration from Case-Western Reserve University in Cleveland, Ohio. Mr. Kadunc resides in suburban Cleveland, Ohio.
