Joseph Bione is President and the Managing Partner of Whitehall Group, with 35 years experience in automotive and manufacturing. Mr. Bione’s expertise includes the areas of restructuring, reengineering, enterprise lean, continuous improvement and supply chain management.

Mr. Bione is a frequent speaker at industry events, including the 2009 OESA Conference “The Road Ahead: Best Practices for Managing Uncertainty with Customers and Suppliers”. He participated in the February 2009 MACPA roundtable presentation “Managing Your Company’s Credit through a Troubled Economy” and Mr. Bione also contributed to Eastern Michigan’s College of Business’ Ethos Week in March 2009. His presentation topic discussed “Ethics in the Supply Chain”.

In industry, Mr. Bione has served as Interim CEO/President for many clients during transition and return to profitability, including Venture Industries and Detroit Plastic Molding. Mr. Bione was a Partner at Deloitte Consulting, in the Automotive, Supply Chain and Restructuring Practice, with Global Account Responsibility for DaimlerChrysler. Mr. Bione started his manufacturing career at Johnson Controls, where he served as VP & General Manager for both the Automotive Group and Beverage Bottle Division.

Mr. Bione is a board member of the University of Detroit / Mercy Turnaround Management M.B.A., and the Eastern Michigan University Supply Chain Management program. Bione earned his B.S. and M.B.A., and the “Distinguished Alumni Award” from Gannon University in Erie, Pennsylvania. His certifications include the CPM (Purchasing), CPIM (Production Control & Inventory), and is a longtime member of the Turnaround Management Association.
