John S. Jackson

John Jackson has 10+ years of experience in the automotive, construction, and consulting industries. Most recently he was the COO of an $80mm construction contractor with over 700 employees. During his career he has also worked directly or as a consultant for each of the “Detroit 3” automotive manufacturers. Mr. Jackson specializes in organizational management and turnaround, as well as marketing and business development.

Mr. Jackson recently joined the Whitehall Group. Prior to joining Whitehall Group, he was Vice President and COO of the 6th largest roofing contractor in America. During his time there he drove an increase in sales of 115% while reducing operational expenses for the company. The company was sold once they attained higher profitability.

Mr. Jackson began his career at a Deloitte Consulting, where his clients included numerous Fortune 500 companies in a variety of industries. At both General Motors and Ford Motor Company, he served in Sales & Marketing positions with responsibilities including the hiring and training of sales personnel to effect significant retail operational improvements.

Mr. Jackson holds an MBA from the University of Florida with an emphasis on International Marketing. He earned a BA in Marketing Management and Finance at Hillsdale College in Michigan. Additionally, Mr. Jackson has been accepted to the Executive Leadership program at Cornell University. He has also been trained in six sigma and lean manufacturing.
